Hi guys! Today I will be making a recipe from Williams-Sonoma’s The Cookbook for Kids! Down below are the ingredients:
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- a pinch of salt
Note: I love this recipe but it turns out a bit bland so I add extra cinnamon and brown sugar
First put in a sauce pan put in the rolled oats, milk, salt and cinnamon. Stir with a wooden spoon on high and DON’T let the milk sit. It will burn, so you have to keep it moving. Once it starts to get thicker put the stove down lower, but keep stirring. If it is pretty thick and the milk looks like a sauce it is done. After it’s done you add the brown sugar. You can also add dried fruit if you like.
This recipe makes about 2 servings.
